House fire on Amy Rd in Greenbank

Five people have managed to get out of a burning house south of Brisbane, with reports more than 50 per cent of the building is well involved.

Five people have escaped a house fire in Logan this morning.

Firefighters and paramedics have been called to a house fire in Logan this morning.

Emergency services were called to Amy Rd in Greenbank at 8.42, following reports that a single-story home was on fire.

Firefighters reported 50 per cent of the home was involved with fire when they arrived about 9am.

Five occupants escaped the house themselves, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said.

One male patient in a stable condition is being assessed by paramedics.

The fire was put out about 9.30, with eight fire crews remaining on the scene.

Investigators will probe the cause of the blaze today.
