Don't miss out on the headlines from Gympie. Followed categories will be added to My News.
Gympie region drivers have all felt the bumps and bruises of a road in poor condition thanks to potholes, no bitumen, roads with corrugations and blind corners, narrow shoulders or no shoulders, particularly after the floods of 2022.
Gympie Times Facebook followers were asked to nominate what they thought were the worst roads in the region, and the responses named 25 local roads which people had plenty to say about.

Curra Estate Road was the most frequently nominated, with Hadassah Covert describing its potholes “horrendous.”
“I’m so glad that they filled the holes – but it’s only temporary until some more pop up again,” Ms Covert said.
The Gympie Times has compiled all the roads named so far as the worst in the region and put them into the poll below where readers are encouraged to vote for the goat track they think is the worst.
