A Rainbow Beach woman is recovering in hospital on the Sunshine Coast after fracturing her spine in a fall on rocks at the popular tourist spot.
The 38-year-old was at Mudlo Rocks about 10am Wednesday when she fell.
A QAS spokeswoman said a rescue helicopter was called in to help due to the location of the incident.
She was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
