When you think back to your schooling career, at least one teacher springs to mind that really stood out.

The Gympie Times asked our Facebook followers to nominate their top teachers and the responses were outstanding.

We received 13 nominations from readers across the Gympie region telling us who their favourite teacher was.

Here are some of the responses:

Sheree Williams: You won’t find another teacher more intuned (sic) into Mrs Mansfield’s students. She is definitely a special one.

Angie Treichel: Mrs Corbet at Victory College (Prep Teacher). She is truly a wonderful teacher and I’ll be forever grateful my daughter had her for her first experience of school.
