A woman and a baby have been taken to hospital with minor injuries following a two-car crash on Tin Can Bay Rd at Goomboorian.
Multiple emergency crews were called to the scene of the accident which happened outside the Liberty service station shortly after 10am Friday morning.
Eight people were treated by paramedics at the scene.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said a woman in her 30s was taken to Gympie Hospital with an arm injury, as was an infant with “a bump to the head”.
The road was cut to one lane while emergency crews worked in the drizzling rain to clear the wreckage.
