We’ve narrowed down public nominations to 15 finalists for Gympie’s Favourite Doctor. (Not all candidates are shown).

Doctors: many of us simply wouldn’t be here without them.

Across the Gympie region, people of all ages and persuasions put their firm trust in the hands of their local GP every day. When we asked people to nominate who they thought the best doctor in the Gympie region was we were flooded with names.

We’ve narrowed it down to 15 finalists from the more than 100 comments that nominated Gympie’s Best Doctor.

Now you, our subscribers, have the chance to vote on who you think the region’s top doc is.

The poll will close at midnight on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Lynne Parr: Dr Chris Black Channon Street Medical Centre experienced thorough and very caring number one for my health care.

Kathy Summers: Dr Black Always in demand. Responds promptly. Treats everyone with respect. The best by far!

Emma McClintock: Dr Marian Campbell at the Gympie Clinic. In addition to being a great doctor, she is warm, empathetic and wonderful with us and our little boy. I always feel better once I’ve seen her

Kylie Brown: Dr George Pienaar. Channon Street Medical Centre. He is a great doctor and extremely patient and understanding.

Jazz Busiko: Dr Jeremy So is unbelievable with kids. Talks to them at their level, actually values the parents knowledge and choices.so thorough and kind.

Gaylene Johnston: Dr Rebecca Freshney is amazing. Very understanding and thorough. Very patient. She has helped all members of our family.
