Police are yet to inform the public how Sarah Brown’s lifeless young body came to be lying in bushland and for who knows how long, but we can reveal everything we know in a timeline of events from the terrible day she went missing.

Many questions still surround the sudden death of 23-year-old Sarah Brown, whose body was found in Gympie bushland on Monday, June 14, as her loved ones patiently await the post mortem results.
The Gympie Times can reveal the timeline of when Sarah was last seen, how long she was missing and when and where she was found not far from her home at Victory Heights.
MONDAY, JUNE 7 - Sarah was last seen at 6pm, leaving her home in Victory Heights, wearing thongs and a dress. She was reportedly going to buy alcohol from a nearby shop.
TUESDAY, JUNE 8 - Sarah’s mother Janet Gardner arrived in Gympie as she had arranged to meet her daughter. Sarah was nowhere to be seen and the frantic search began, though she was not officially listed as a missing person.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 9, TO SUNDAY, JUNE 13 - Sarah became listed with the police as a missing person and stayed missing for the duration of the week. Her messenger and Facebook accounts were silent and no one could provide any information on her possible whereabouts.
MONDAY, JUNE 14 (Morning) - Sarah’s body was found in Victory Trails bushland by a male friend who was searching for her. He notified Ms Gardner of Sarah’s death.
MONDAY, JUNE 14 (11am)- Police were called at 11am and declared the site near Barton Rd a crime scene.
THURSDAY, JUNE 17 - A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said investigations were still underway as to the cause of Sarah’s death and they were awaiting the results of the post mortem, which could take some time.
