The three people accused of the gruesome November 2017 woodchipper death of Bruce Saunders in the Gympie region will face the Brisbane Supreme Court next week.
Sharon Graham, 60, Peter John Koenig, 64, and Gregory Lee Roser, 62, are each charged with murder and attempting to pervert justice after Mr Saunders‘ body went through an industrial woodchipper on November 12, 2017 on a property at Goomboorian.
The matter is listed for mention in the Supreme Court next Friday.
The two male co-accused faced a committal hearing in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court in October 2019, when property owner Sharon Beighton told the court she was grieving her husband and son when the murder was alleged to have happened on her property.
The court heard Mr Koenig, Mr Roser and their alleged victim were clearing trees and branches on Ms Beighton‘s property at the time of death.
Ms Beighton said Mr Roser claimed he was “holding (Mr Saunders‘) legs” but ”couldn’t save him”, and Mr Koenig told her to ring police.
Ms Graham waived her right to a prior examination of prosecution evidence.
