The occupants of two cars escaped serious injury after the vehicles collided while travelling along the Burnett Hwy at Booubyjan, causing one to roll.

Emergency crews and the rescue chopper were called to the scene of the crash near the highway’s intersection with Old Gayndah Murgon Rd, 40km north of Goomeri, about 3pm on Wednesday.

A QFES spokesman said one of the vehicles had rolled in the crash, and crews found the southbound lane of the highway blocked when they arrived.

A QAS spokeswoman said one person was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition, but details about their injuries were unavailable.
