Tiaro man killed in late night bike crash at Talegalla Weir
A Wide Bay man has died on the side of an isolated country road after crashing his motorbike near the Tuan forestry on Thursday evening and not being found until the next morning.

A 66-year-old Tiaro man has been killed in a horror motorcycle crash on a rural road near the Tuan State Forest, east of Tiaro and Bauple.
Police said initial indications were the man was riding along Talegalla Rd near Talegalla Weir, 30km south of Maryborough, about 5.30pm on Thursday when the he crashed his motorbike, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Family scare as child nearly drowns at tourist spot
It is understood the crash was discovered by a motorist who happened upon the wreckage about 6.30am on Friday, January 27.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
