The crew, including a critical care doctor and a Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic, joined local QAS paramedics in treating a male rider in his 20s.
The rider suffered a concussion and a wrist injury and was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Later that afternoon, at about 5.30pm, the Bundaberg-based LifeFlight rescue crew was deployed to K’gari to assist another male rider involved in a trail bike accident.
A Queensland Ambulance Service Spokeswoman said the rider sustained injuries on both of his arms.
He was flown to Hervey Bay Hospital for further treatment.
