Young sports stars, community service stalwarts and major festivals are among the Gympie region nominees for 2025 Australia Day Awards.
The winners will be announced at the Australia Day celebrations in Memorial Park on Sunday, January 26.
The event starts at 8.30am and will run until 10.30am, and includes Citizen of the Year and citizenship ceremonies as well as live music and a free BBQ breakfast.
