A trip to the Cooloola Coast has ended horribly for campers after their caravan caught alight at a popular tourist spot.

An Inskip Point camping trip has come to a shocking end for holiday-makers after their caravan burnt to the ground.
Firefighters were called to the Inskip Ave campsite at 1pm, and arrived to find the vehicle fully engulfed by flames.
A QFES spokesman said crews had extinguished the fire 30 minutes later and were still onsite damping down hot spots.
