A 46-year-old Gympie woman is heading to trial over accusations she forged a character reference in her bail application.
Shenoa Elizabeth Abbey pleaded not guilty on Monday to attempting to pervert the course of justice, laid over the allegedly false document.
Ms Abbey allegedly “forged” a letter claiming to be from her children in support of her own bail application on an unidentified charge, on an unknown date between August 22 and September 26, 2023.
The court heard the issues at play in the trial were expected to be “narrow”, and the matter was adjourned to February, 2025.
Ms Abbey’s bail was enlarged.
