Isaac Alan Rogers charged with drug trafficking, supplying weapons
An alleged drug and gun dealer’s family supported him in court as he faced multiple charges, including supplying pump-action shotguns and a rifle in Gympie and other parts of Queensland.

A 39-year-old Sexton man faced Gympie Magistrates Court on Tuesday for a bail application following charges of drug and weapon trafficking over the course of several months in 2021.
Isaac Alan Rogers was formally charged with one count of trafficking meth, one count of using a phone in connection with the crime, four counts of supplying guns, four counts of supplying meth and one count of possessing meth.
He did not enter a plea.
The weapons, including pump-action shotguns and a rifle, were allegedly supplied over various days in August 2021.
The alleged offences occurred in Gympie or “elsewhere in the state Queensland,” Magistrate Chris Callaghan told the court.
The trafficking period us alleged to be between June 5 and October 3, 2021 and supply between July 28 and August 28, 2021.
The court heard Gympie detectives found evidence of drug transactions between a Gympie man and Mr Rogers on his phone.
The phone was seized on September 8, 2021 in Morayfield.
Officers told Mr Rogers they had suspicions of drug transactions on the device.
Police prosecutor Melissa Campbell said Mr Rogers willingly gave his phone passcode to the police.
He was arrested in Caboolture and taken into custody on October 7, 2021.
Magistrate Chris Callaghan denied Mr Rogers bail in October 2021, but released him on bail on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, after 355 days in pre-sentence custody.
Mr Rogers’ mother, partner and daughter supported him in the public gallery.
Three charges of supplying drugs will be heard in Gympie Magistrates Court on December 12, 2o22 and the remaining charges will be committed to Brisbane Supreme Court.
A date has not been set yet for the Supreme Court matters.
