Gympie woman on mobility scooter hit by car
A woman has been taken to Gympie Hospital after a car crashed into her mobility scooter near the site of the old private hospital.

A woman in her 80s on a mobility scooter was struck by a car on Channon Street, Gympie just before midday.
The woman was struck just across from the site of the former Gympie Private Hospital, a Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said.
Paramedics received a call at 11.55am and arrived to help the patient four minutes later.
The woman was transported to the Gympie Hospital in a stable condition with lacerations to her head.
The driver of the other vehicle did not require medical attention.
