Queensland Fire Department crews are responding to a vegetation fire near St Mary, close to Tiaro, which broke out this afternoon.
At approximately 1:30pm, crews were alerted to the five-hectare blaze located at Glenbar Road and Riverbend Drive.
A QFD spokeswoman confirmed the fire is slow-moving and has a low flame height, she said the fire is close to being contained.
Five trucks are currently on the scene, with two additional units en route.
No structures are under threat, and there are no traffic diversions in place at this stage.
Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation.
Residents are advised to remain aware of changing conditions and follow any updates from emergency services.
