Gympie police are hunting two alleged offenders after they failed to show up for court, with one facing multiple charges including evading officers at night.

Arrest warrants were issued for the following residents:

The first was issued for Chey Callum Matthews, a 41-year-0ld East Deep Creek man who has been charged with evading police at night while in company, stealing, failing to properly dispose of a syringe, failing to appear at court, and contravening a police direction.

Sonja Prass, a 64-year-old woman from Deception Bay, had a warrant issued after she did not appear on a charge of causing a public nuisance.
