Pictures of car used in alleged Hilton Road hit and run released
Police have released a photo of the car alleged to be involved in a hit and run in the heart of Gympie which left a 21-year-old man with critical head injuries.

Police are appealing for information about a car allegedly used in a hit and run in Gympie on Friday night that left a 21-year-old with critical injuries.
A white Toyota Prado was seen driving west along Perseverance St shortly after the crash, which police say may have damage to the left headlight and side mirror.
A 21-year-old man was walking along Hilton Rd near Central Shopping Centre about 10pm on Friday when he was stuck by a car and suffered a serious head injury.
The vehicle did not remain at the scene.
The man was transported to Gympie Hospital and then flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Brisbane.
He was critically injured but was now stable and recovering in hospital, Queensland Police confirmed.
The Forensic Crash Unit investigation is ongoing and they urge anyone with information about the car, or the identity of the driver to come forward.
QPS Media said on Monday nobody had been arrested or charged yet.
