Man injured at Brooloo property when excavator traps feet

A man has been rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after his feet became trapped under a machine on a property in the Mary Valley.

A man in his 30s has suffered leg injuries after an excavator tipped over on a rural Mary Valley property, trapping his feet underneath the machine.

Paramedics were called to the Brooloo property, at Coonoongibber Rd about 40km south of Gympie, shortly after 10am Wednesday.

A QAS spokeswoman said responders worked for about 20 minutes to free the man.

He was taken to the Sunshine Coast University in a stable condition.
