Man flown to hospital after serious car crash in Kia Ora
A man in his 50s has been flown to hospital with significant injuries after a rollover near Gympie.

A man in his 50s has been flown to hospital suffering significant chest injuries after a crash at Kia Ora, north of Gympie.
The vehicle rolled over and went down an embankment just after 9pm on Thursday.
The Queensland Ambulance Service received the call at 9.15pm and attended the scene on Anderleigh Road to find the man trapped inside the vehicle.
One fire crew arrived at 9.40pm and used hydraulic equipment to free the patient who suffered potentially life-threatening chest, abdominal, and head injuries.
The man was then flown by a rescue helicopter to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital while firefighters remained on-site until 11pm to ensure the scene was safe.
On Friday the man was in a stable condition and recovering in hospital.
