Man, teen injured in early morning crash at Tin Can Bay Rd

A man and a teenager were taken to Gympie Hospital on Tuesday morning after being injured in an early morning rollover a few kilometres outside the city.

A man and a teenager were taken to Gympie Hospital on Tuesday morning after being injured in an early morning rollover a few kilometres outside the city.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash at Greens Creek about 4.11am Tuesday.

The pair were driving near the intersection of Tin Can Bay Rd and Cedar Pocket Rd when their car rolled.

A QAS spokeswoman said the man, aged in his 20s, suffered facial injuries.

No injuries were reported for the boy, aged in his late teens, although he was assessed by paramedics.

They were taken to hospital, each in a stable condition.
