Woman critical after Bruce Hwy collision at Bauple
A P-plate driver aged in her 20s is fighting for life after the small car she was driving collided with a semi-trailer near Bauple.

A woman has been flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with critical injuries after her red Holden Barina and a semi-trailer collided on the Bruce Hwy at Bauple, about 35km south of Maryborough.
The crash happened near the highway’s intersection with Bauple Drive at 8.09am on Monday, July 10.
A QAS spokeswoman said the woman, aged in her 20s and on her P-plates, suffered a “pretty serious head injury” in the crash which left her trapped.
Fireys were finally able to free her shortly before 9am.
She was then loaded on the nearby waiting Lifeflight helicopter and flown to Brisbane.
The driver of the truck, which was towing a caravan and another car, was able to exit the vehicle following the crash.
No details of any injuries have been reported.
Drivers along the highway have been warned to expect delays as emergency crews continue cleaning up the crash scene.
