Gympie showgrounds light up for glow in the dark event

A new glow-in-the-dark themed event will take place at the Gympie Showgrounds on Friday, July 30.
Gympie Gets Its Glow On is a glow-in-the-dark family fun event where visitors will be immersed in all things bright and glowing.
The night will feature an array of LED and glow in the dark displays including giant LED animal light installations and an LED dance floor, as well as street food stalls and kids jumping castles.
There will be a magic show running from 4.40pm until 5.10pm, as well as an LED hula hoop performance and competition from 5.30pm until 5.45pm, followed by a best-dressed competition at 7.30pm.
Glow in the dark items such as glasses and headbands will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Gates open at 4.30pm.
