Gympie council to auction 35 abandoned cars
The Gympie council is gearing up to auction off a long list of cars, boats, jet skis and trailers abandoned from Glastonbury to Rainbow Beach, Gympie and the Mary Valley. Here is a detailed list of the bargains to be had.

The Gympie Regional Council will auction off more than 35 cars, trailers, canopies and more found abandoned at various council-owned sites across the region at the end of July.
The vehicles below have been impounded by the council under s100 of the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995, and not claimed.
The auction will take place at 10am on Wednesday, July 31, at the council impound yard in Laurenceson Road, Gympie. People can go an inspect the vehicles from 9am that day.
If not released prior, the vehicles will be sold by auction.
They will be sold unregistered in their current condition. The council has stated it will offer no warranties and accept no responsibility for the condition of the vehicles.

Full payment must be made at the time of auction. Auctioned vehicles must be removed by their buyers on auction day. Cash will not be accepted, and attendees must wear enclosed footwear and sign in prior to the start of the auction. No children under 16 will be allowed into the compound.
