If the Gympie Show isn't your thing, the region has another exciting event kicking off this weekend at the Borumba Deer Park near Imbil.

Jungle Love, a music-lover's utopia that was shut down last year due to the pandemic, will run from Friday, May 14, to late on Sunday, May 16.

If you're late to the party there are luckily still three-day event tickets available that can be purchased HERE and also on the resale site.

All tickets include camping and there are also luxury tents available in 'Tent City' for those who don't want the hassle of setting up and packing down.

For the first time this year, the festival organisers have decided to go completely BYO with no licensed bars on site, just remember to decant your beverages as the event is glass-free and single use single-use plastic free.

As for the line-up, it's jam-packed with 31 artists from a broad range of genres.

Featuring the likes of Winston Surfshirt, Hiatus Kaiyote, A Tribute To Pink Floyd, B-Syde, Barkaa, Cheap Fakes and a whole range of other favourites, there is an artist for everyone to enjoy.

Director Raymond Williams said it was an "absolute dream" to be back at the Borumba Deer Park for this year's Jungle Love.

"We are going to keep everything nice and packed, really close proximity, so you can bounce around and see everything," Mr Williams said.

"Capacity is going to be reduced, the last one we did was 1800, so we are making it easier for ourselves and taking a few steps back to make it nice and intimate."
