Emergency services rushed out to a property in Veteran after a house was engulfed in flames late Monday night.

Fire services were called out to Sandy Creek Road after reports of a house fire at 11.40pm.
The incident occurred near the cross street of Meredith Road and Sandy Creek Road.

Five crews, including rural and urban crews, as well as ambulance and police attended the scene.
The house was “well involved” by the time fire crews arrived, a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said.
By 12.30am, the fire was under control and by 1am, the crews were extinguishing the hot spots.
Fire crews returned at 4.40am to battle fire hotspots again after the flames reignited.
A structural collapse has been mentioned in the incident reports, the spokesman said.
Fire investigation teams will be on scene later on Tuesday.
No one was reported to be injured.
