Two people have been charged after a teenage man was wounded in the early hours of the morning close to a coffee shop near the Gympie CBD.

Two men have been charged over an alleged stabbing near Toucan Coffee after one young man was left wounded in the early hours of the morning.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the alleged incident occurred around 2am on November 20, 2022 on the corner of Monkland St and the Bruce Highway.
Police said the location of the incident was at Louisa St on Monday but reported on Wednesday the stabbing had in fact occurred near Toucan Coffee.

An 18-year-old Araluen man and an 18-year-old man from The Palms were allegedly approached by three men when they were walking on the footpath.

It is alleged the two men were then assaulted, with one suffering a number of stab wounds, the spokesman said.
Police were called a short time later and the victims were found.
Cody Steven Hazelgrove, a 38-year-old Gympie man and an unidentified 39-year-old Curra man, were charged following police investigations.
They have each been charged with two counts of assaults occasioning bodily harm whilst armed and in company, the spokesman said.
Mr Hazelgrove, appeared in Gympie Magistrates Court and was remanded in custody on November 24. He will appear again on January 23.
The Curra man was released on bail and will appear again in Gympie Magistrates Court on January 9.
Investigations continue as police still investigate into a third man being involved in the incident.
