Multiple ambulance crews and other emergency crews are on the scene of a serious crash on the outskirts of Gympie at the intersection of Eel
Creek Road and Lawson Road.
The deadly intersection on the crest of a hill on Eel Creek Road has claimed lives in the past.
The crash on the busy arterial road into the Southside occurred about 6.30pm.
A QAS spokesperson said a motorbike and a car had collided at the intersection and two patients had been taken to Gympie Hospital, one with chest injuries. The other patient was “walking and talking”. It is not known how serious the chest injuries were.
