A major Curra development site will go under the hammer in September, after its original auction date was postponed by almost 18 months due to Covid.
Curra Town Centre, a 5.7ha property on David Drive, includes the proposed development of a grocery store, a 75-place childcare centre, multiple retail stores and a drive-through site for fast food.

The property is directly across the road from the Puma Service Station on the corner of David Drive and the Bruce Hwy.
Site owner Wayne Hoskin said the auction was originally scheduled for March of 2020 but was postponed due to the pandemic, despite hopes it would be completed by 2021.
Mr Hoskin said in March 2020 the project was a 16-year passion project for the developers, but was put under the hammer due to age and illness among its owners.

The property will go under the hammer at 10.30am on Friday, September 17.
