As the year comes to an end, a new cohort of beautiful gorgeous newborn children grace the world, and now readers have named their choice for the cutest of 2023.
The winner took the crown from a record field of entries.
An average of 305 babies a year have been welcomed into the world at the Gympie Hospital since 2020, and each one comes with a unique smile, laughter, personality, undeniably as cute as they can be to their family and friends.
While there can only be one winner, truly all the newborns of 2023 are cuties, with infectious laughter, cheeky grins and big beautiful eyes which can melt the heart of anyone who catches their smile.
Congratulations to all entrants and their families.
1. Khalani Knight
Nominated by mum Mika Peacock, Khalani Knight of Gympie, born on May 29, has been named Gympie’s cutest baby with 22 per cent of the vote.
“Thanks to everyone that voted for Khalani, we are just so very thankful to have a happy and healthy baby so the cuteness is just an added bonus, there was quite a lot of competition with so many cute babies that have been born this year so we are thrilled to see she won!” Ms Peacock said.
2. Weston and Banjo Morris
Coming in close behind Khalani is Weston and Banjo Morris, only 10 votes behind with 15 per cent of the total.
3. Brock Waddle
In third place is Brock Waddle with 14 per cent of votes.
4. Stevie Sander
Stevie Sander came in fourth with 10 per cent of votes.
5. Reef and Kenzlee Mick
Taking fifth Reef and Kenzlee Mick with seven per cent of votes.
