It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas throughout Gympie with residents getting into the holiday spirit.

Residents have decked out their porches, yards and houses with festive decorations and glimmering lights.

Gympie couple Geoff and Jenny Stolberg has decorated the interior and exterior of their house for several years.
While it is not open to the public and “invitation only,” family and friends who visit enjoy the festive rooms that Mrs Stolberg puts together with love every year.
The couple collect donations from their visitors to give towards charities such as Little Haven Palliative Care.
They highest sum they have collected and donated is about $2000, Mr Stolberg said.
This year, the funds will likely go towards the Gympie Show Society, with Mr and Mrs Stolberg being members for decades.
