UPDATED AUGUST 5, 2:22PM:

Emergency services arrived on the scene of a structure fire north of Gympie on Staples Rd, near Woolooga at around 1:20pm on Thursday afternoon.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesperson said seven crews in total worked to extinguish the fire which was put out just after 2pm.

When they arrived, the one storey, brick, 20m x 10m home was “well alight” and “engulfed in flames”.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said no one had been injured but paramedics were on standby.
