Both lanes affected after Bruce Highway crash near Gympie

Emergency services were called to the scene of the multi-vehicle crash near Purcell Rd at about 5.20pm this afternoon, with all lanes reported to be affected in both directions.

Paramedics were called to the scene of a crash north of Gympie this afternoon, which has affected traffic in both directions.

Both directions of the Bruce Highway at Bells Bridge have been affected after a multi-vehicle crash this evening.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash near Purcell Rd at about 5.20pm this afternoon, with all lanes reported to be affected in both directions.

A traffic alert published by the Department of Transport and Main Roads said delays were expected and encouraged motorists to “proceed with caution” as of its latest update.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed no one had been hurt in the crash, and therefore paramedics were not required at the scene.
