Police have confirmed the 64-year-old man who was involved in a tractor rollover on a private Southside property has died.

A man has died after his tractor rolled on private property on Gympie's Southside.

Queensland Police have confirmed a man involved in a tractor rollover at Southside, just out of Gympie, has died.

Police responded to the death of the 64-year-old man on Moreland Rd on Thursday.

A report is now being prepared for the Coroner on the tragedy.

Earlier emergency services rushed to the scene of a tractor rollover amid reports the driver of the tractor could possibly be trapped.

The rollover has occurred on a private property off Moreland Rd, which is off Stumn Rd.

The tractor rollover has occurred near Moreland Road on Gympie's Southside.
