A man has braved the floodwaters for a Sunday feed after a downpour left parts of the southeast underwater.
The Gold Coast man was spotted wading through the shin-deep water to meet his Uber Eats driver on the other side.

It comes as the Gold Coast recorded its wettest July day in 15 years, with 184mm recorded in Monterey Keys, exceeding the 46mm monthly average by four.
Mudgeeraba was hit hard by the falls, with areas of Firth Park and the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds completely underwater.
