Two people taken to hospital following Clinton accident

Queensland fire crews had to cut an injured person out of a damaged car following a two-vehicle crash in Gladstone early this morning.
The accident occurred on the Dawson Highway near Don Young Drive at Clinton about 5.05am.
Two Queensland Fire Department crews were on scene by 5.16am and had freed the trapped person by 5.30am.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated a second injured person from the other vehicle and transported both patients to Gladstone Hospital in a stable condition.
No details were provided for injuries or ages.
The highway was cleared by 5.50am however traffic control was still in place at 7.10am with police and Transport and Main Roads staff still on scene.
