Single vehicle rollover on the Bruce Hwy near Colosseum
Emergency crews were called to a single vehicle crash between Gladstone and Bundaberg that claimed a man’s life this morning.

A driver has died in an early morning rollover on the Bruce Highway between Gladstone and Bundaberg.
Emergency crews were called to the serious crash which occurred along the Bruce Highway south of Miriam Vale around 6.50am on Wednesday, May 14.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the driver sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said crews were called to the single vehicle rollover at 6.50am with a crew arriving at 7.05am.
The highway is currently open but will be closed when the QPS Forensic Crash Unit investigates the fatality a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said.
Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage from the area is urged to contact police.
It follows the tragic death of a 43-year-old woman in March when a truck and car collided near Colosseum on the Bruce Highway.
The truck driver was not injured.
