Re-Pump officially launches in Gladstone

The family owned and operated business has been servicing customers since 2004. Now it’s expanding to Gladstone

Re-Pump Australia has chosen Gladstone as its first regional branch.

Re-Pump has experienced significant growth over the past few years and has several customers in the Gladstone region.

This drove the decision to open a Gladstone branch, to provide even better service to these customers.

Re-Pump managing director Gary Callaghan said Re-Pump was a Queensland based, family owned and operated business, that had been servicing customers since 2004.

“We have grown from a small company with the help of local industry in South East Queensland and our intention is to do the same in Gladstone,” Mr Callaghan said.

“Opening a Gladstone Branch will enable Re-Pump to better service regional councils such as Rockhampton, Isaac, Central Highlands and Gladstone.

“We are committed to providing local and regional industry a responsive, boots on the ground service and high-quality work to maintain systems and keep downtime to a minimum.”

Member for Gladstone Glenn Butcher was at the official opening on Monday.

“I’m very pleased that the growth we’ve seen in the Gladstone region is offering opportunities for new business investment and for local jobs,” he said.

“As the Member for Gladstone, I’m thrilled that Re-Pump has chosen Gladstone to be its first regional branch.”

Mr Butcher said Re-Pump would spend money on local projects rather than completing work in the Brisbane factory then shipping to site.

“Not only that, but they’ll be also purchasing vehicles, machinery, tools and equipment from local suppliers,” he said.

“As a mechanical fitter and turner myself, I’m also pleased to see that they’ll be putting new tradespeople and apprentices both now and into the future.”
