Woman treated for smoke inhalation after house fire near Gladstone

A woman in her 30s was treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire on Charles Street in Gladstone.

Emergency services attended a house fire at Charles St in West Gladstone at 3.15pm.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said there was light smoke issuing from the top of the house when they arrived and they extinguished it quickly.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the female occupant in her 30s was treated for smoke inhalation on the scene but declined transport to hospital.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the fire was not suspicious.

No one else was at the address when the incident occurred.
