Court documents detailed how on October 28, around 8am, the aggrieved woke to Gudmann in her bed.

The aggrieved allegedly collected her belongings quietly so she did not wake Gudmann, however, he called out to her from the driveway of the property a short time later.

Gudmann allegedly entered the house to collect his car keys and drove along the same street the aggrieved was walking.

He then allegedly accelerated towards her rapidly, forcing the aggrieved to seek cover behind a tree, however, she was struck by the car and thrown through a garden bed.

The aggrieved got up and Gudmann allegedly gave chase for a few hundred metres before the aggrieved yelled she could hear police sirens.

The aggrieved continued running and was collected by a friend and Gudmann allegedly locked his car, returned to the aggrieved’s house, changed his clothes and contacted triple-0.

Gudmann allegedly contacted triple-0 and said a group of three people stole his car from the driveway of an address in Calliope.

Gudmann allegedly then returned to the scene of the crash and was arrested by police.

After questioning by police at the Gladstone watch house he was remanded in police custody.

Mr Manthey refused Gudmann’s bail given his risk of failing to appear in court at the next hearing of the matters at a later date.
