Truck rollover blocks southbound lane of the Bruce Highway at Colosseum
One lane of the Bruce Highway has been shut down after another truck rollover near where six B-doubles and two ambulances crashed causing a 24-hour total shutdown of a 100km stretch.

One lane of the Bruce Highway has been blocked after another truck rollover just two days after the same section of highway was brought to a standstill for 24 hours.
Emergency services responded to the single-vehicle crash in the southbound lane at 3.42am on Thursday at Colosseum, south of Miriam Vale.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said one crew attended and that the driver of the prime mover, a man in his 20s, was out of the vehicle when the crew arrived on scene.
She said there was a diesel spill and that the crew cleaned up the leak.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was transported to Gladstone Hospital in a stable condition with arm and leg injuries.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the southbound lane of the Bruce Highway was still closed and that traffic control was on scene.
She said the vehicle was still yet to be towed from the scene and investigations are continuing.
She said as of 8.15am the highway was likely to remain closed for another four to six hours.
Motorists reported heavy fog in an area south of Rockhampton. “Visibility as low as 50m in some parts south of Rocky,” one of the posts read.
Others lamented another crash.
“It’s heartbreaking to hear, everyday on the Bruce Hwy,’’ Peter Peters wrote.
“What’s it going to take to upgrade?
“Our main highway is an absolute disgrace.
“I feel for everyone who drives this highway everyday north of Gympie.”
The crash is about 42km north of the horror crash at Gindoran on Tuesday that saw 100km of Bruce Highway closed for 24 hours after six B-doubles and two ambulances were involved in three separate crashes.
One person suffered life threatening injuries in the crash between Bundaberg and Gladstone but that man, aged in his 20s, remained in a critical condition in Brisbane on Wednesday afternoon while another man in his 20s was stable in Bundaberg and a third man in his 50s who was seriously hurt, was also stable in Brisbane.
Officer in charge of Calliope Highway Patrol Senior Sergeant Shaune English said while it was too early to determine the cause, reduced visibility was possibly a major factor.
“Information we have got is there was a fair amount of fog combined with smoke from a burn off,” he said.
