A man was flown to Rockhampton Hospital on Sunday afternoon after he fell from a horse at Theodore.

The RACQ Capricorn Rescue helicopter responded to a Theodore property on Sunday afternoon after a man in his 40s fell from a horse.

The man in his 40s was airlifted from a property at Theodore, west of Biloela.

He suffered suspected shoulder injuries and was assessed and stabilised by the on-board critical care paramedic and flight doctor before being transported.
