A man has faced court after he made a highly inappropriate sex comment to a female stranger at a Queensland train station.

Noah Thomas Edward Dixon, 19, pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on November 15 to eight charges including two counts each of public nuisance and obstructing police, and one count of assaulting police.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Tanya Griffiths said on July 20, Dixon was at Mango Hill train station when he yelled obscenities and made homophobic remarks towards police.

Sergeant Griffiths said as Dixon was being escorted away, he called out to a woman who was sitting on a nearby bench and said: “Hey lovely, do you want to suck my c---?”

The prosecutor said when at the police vehicle, Dixon got aggressive with police and said “you’re lucky I don’t f---ing headbutt you” to one of the officers before lunging forward.

Sergeant Griffiths said Dixon was taken to hospital for a mental health assessment.

Then on August 10 at Taroom Train Station, a security officer told Dixon he couldn’t sleep there and Dixon told him to “f--- off” and “I’m going to stab that dog.”

The court heard that after police arrived, Dixon obstructed them and he was arrested.

It was told that Dixon had a one-page criminal history.

Solicitor Jun Pepito said Dixon was employed in Gladstone and he suffered from ADHD and epilepsy.

Mr Pepito said the catalyst for Dixon’s offending was his grandmother passing away - the person he was closest to.

Magistrate Mary Buchanan placed Dixon on 15 months’ probation and no convictions were recorded.
