Four people allegedly involved in Tuesday night’s violent New Auckland Street brawl faced Gladstone Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Tahlea Nicole Denniss, 19, Logan Morris Moroney, 23, Shai-Anna Isabel Thomson, 25 and Ricardo Veronese, 20, all stand charged of two counts of grievous bodily harm, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, unlawful possession of a weapon and three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed.

Their charges surfaced from an alleged incident at a Shaw Street address around midnight on Tuesday night.

Police allege they separated a large physical altercation in which blunt weapons were allegedly used against four people.

A Queensland Police spokesperson said the people involved in the altercation were known to each other.

Moroney and Veronese had their matters adjourned until February 1, 2022 with Denniss and Thomson’s matters adjourned until tomorrow.
