Alan David Hamilton, 50
Hamilton was intercepted by police patrolling Fitzroy Street, Rockhampton on April 21, around 8.18am after he committed a traffic offence.
He told police during a conversation that prior to his interception he had consumed an illicit drug.
Tests revealed Hamilton had marijuana and methamphetamine in his system.
He pleaded guilty to one count of drug driving in Gladstone Magistrates Court this week.
Magistrate Bevan Manthey convicted and fined Hamilton $600. A conviction was recorded.
Brendan Mark Davey, 47
Davey was intercepted by the Calliope Road Policing Unit on Glenlyon Road, West Gladstone at 4.23pm on June 20.
He had marijuana and methamphetamine in his system.
Davey told police he had a “couple of puffs” of marijuana the afternoon before, but that was it and did not have any emergent reason for driving the vehicle at the time.
He was issued a notice to appear in the Gladstone Magistrates Court as a result.
Davey was convicted fined $400 and suspended from driving for one month. Convictions were recorded.
