A mother who drug drove with her child unrestrained faced the Gladstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Julie Lynette Seage, 37, pleaded guilty to drug driving before Acting Magistrate John Milburn.
A court heard on May 15, around 3.30pm, police intercepted Seage driving on Venus Street, Telina and made note of her nine-year-old daughter who was unrestrained in the back seat.
Seage submitted to a roadside drug test which returned a positive result and when questioned she made admissions to smoking ice from a pipe the night before.
Police prosecutor Merrilyn Hoskins said Seage had previous driving offences of a like nature including a driving under the influence of drugs charge in 2017.
Mr Milburn convicted and fined Seage $500 and suspended her from driving for three months with a conviction recorded.
