Footage of a brazen ram raid at a Queensland motorcycle store can be revealed as the business owners pick up the pieces after being broken into for the second time in just seven months. VIDEO, DETAILS.

CCTV at Gladstone Motorcycles has shown the moment two people broke in and stole two motorbikes

For the second time in seven months, a Central Queensland motorcycle business has been left picking up the pieces of a ram raid.

Police are investigating after Gladstone Motorcycles was ramraided in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

CCTV footage shared to social media shows two people, dressed in black, breaking down the front doors of the business before walking in and loading two motorbikes into a trailer outside.

Police were alerted to the break in about 2.40am on January 16 and declared a crime scene soon after their arrival.

Gladstone Motorcycles parts interpreter Ryan Walker said it was frustrating the business had been targeted again.

“I don’t know how to explain it … if we could find a way to stop it from happening, we certainly would, the last thing the owners of the business would want is a phone call saying it’s been broken into,” he said.

“The biggest expense for damage is the front doors … those doors were replaced seven months ago during the last break in.”

Mr Walker said his team had received information about one of the stolen motorbikes being seen in the Bundaberg area.

He said after a previous break in a bike that was stolen was returned to the business and staff were hopeful they may get the bikes back.

He also said while the break ins were “frustrating” it was heartening to see the community rally behind each other.

“We know the other motorbike shop gets hit, so we know we’re not getting targeted specifically … after the video was posted we had people calling us with information and other businesses telling us they were targeted by the same people,” he said.

“From one side of things it’s very frustrating, but we also understand other people are in the same situation.

“We’re all the kind of people who try to see the good in things … we’re very grateful for how much the community has helped.”

A spokesman for Queensland Police said officers were investigating the break in and no charges had yet been laid.
