Drink drivers, drug drivers who faced Gladstone court
A musician, two mums and a man who required an interpreter in court were the latest traffic offenders to get their punishments.

The following people pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court to either drink driving or drug driving offences.
Drink driving

Chanh Tin Nguyen, 36
Nguyen blew a reading of .060 after he was intercepted by police on Gladstone Benaraby Rd, Boyne Island, on March 25.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Monday, April 7, to drink driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Nguyen, who required an interpreter in court, was fined $400 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for one month.
No traffic conviction was recorded.
Daniel James Pastoor, 36
Pastoor blew a reading of .050 after he was intercepted on Gladstone Monto Rd, Boyne Valley, on December 31 last year.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Monday, April 7, to drink driving.
With no prior offending of this kind, Pastoor, a wellbeing officer and musician, was fined $400 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for one month.
He successfully applied for a restricted work licence.

Joanne Lee Ware, 46
Ware was caught driving with methamphetamine in her system on the Dawson Highway at Gladstone on February 7.
She pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Monday, April 7, to drug driving and unlicensed driving.
The court heard when police caught Ware drug driving, her driver’s licence was demerit point suspended.
With no prior offending of this sort, Ware, an employed mother, was fined $800 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for nine months.
Traffic convictions were recorded.
Mandy May Winafred Daylight, 30
Daylight was caught driving with cannabis in her system on the Dawson Highway at Calliope, on February 1.
She pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Monday, April 7, to drug driving.
With no prior offending of this kind, Daylight, a mother of two, was fined $350 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for one month.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Kenneth Elderhorst, 54
Elderhorst was caught driving with amphetamine and methamphetamine in his system on Philip Street, Gladstone, on September 27 last year.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Monday, April 7, to drug driving, two counts of unlicensed driving, contravening a police direction, and failing to appear in court.
With no similar offending on his Queensland traffic history, Elderhorst was fined $1450 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for four months.
