The Labour candidate for the federal seat of Flynn is calling on the Coalition federal government to reward those fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with a one-off payment.

Matt Burnett said it was time the Liberal National Party rolled up its sleeves in the race to vaccinate the nation and provide a one-off $300 payment to every fully vaccinated Australian.

“This would be another incentive for Australians to be fully vaccinated and would deliver a much-needed shot in the arm for business and workers who are struggling from lockdowns,” Mr Burnett said.

“Right now, lockdowns are costing millions of dollars each and every day.

“This plan would stimulate the economy by up to $6 billion and deliver significant cash stimulus for businesses and workers struggling from lockdowns.”
